SUV-driving deliveryman is envy of colleagues

A deliveryman has attracted the envy of colleagues by becoming the only one to drive his own car, with a 240,000 yuan ($ 39,173) price tag, to undertake daily business in Chengdu, Southwest China's Sichuan province, wccdaily.com.cn reported on Thursday.

Li Su, a post-80s, spent more than 270,000 yuan in total, with an 180,000 yuan initial payment and 90,000 yuan of debt, on a Toyota RV-4 SUV in January to help him deliver packages.

The car makes his job easier by protecting him from bad weather in comparison to driving electric motors and also ensures the safety of goods and saves time, helping him earn trust from clients.

Behind the obvious convenience, the car puts pressure on him by using 1,300 yuan in gasoline charges and more than 3,000 yuan for loan repayments , accounting for almost half his monthly 10,000 yuan income.
