500-year-old cultural relics covered in garbage

An ancient tomb with a history of more than 500 years was found covered in garbage and dead leaves in Xi'an, Shannxi province, China Business View reported on Friday.

The tomb belongs to Zhu Chengyong (1458-1498), a prince from Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

The tomb is a key national protection site. After investigation, it turned out that the waste was left by an old couple in the nearby village. The couple, who live on waste recycling, was urged to clean up the relics as soon as possible.
