Supermarket makes staff catch wine thieves

An extraordinary new rule was made by a chain of supermarkets on Fuzuo Road, in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on Wednesday, shocking its staff, yzwb.net reported.

Staff need to catch a thief every month beginning in March. The store manager will be fined 100 yuan if they cannot meet this quota.

The manager told the reporter that goods like expensive wine are stolen every month from the store.

The new rule is being used to raise vigilance among the staff, and cut the company's losses.
