One killed by mall's falling objects

Nearly 30 square meters of material of the exterior wall of Joy City, a shopping mall in Chaoyang district, fell down due to strong wind, leaving one pedestrian killed and another injured, reported The Beijing Times on Monday.
According to a witness surnamed Zhang, the debris blew away at 5:10 pm on Sunday.
Another said he saw a man lying on the ground with his leg injured by the falling debris and a woman was also hurt.
One person was confirmed dead and another was severely injured and rushed to the hospital, according to emergency medics.
The staff from the mall said the material probably fell due to poor fixation. The accident is being investigated.
