Poverty-stricken villagers get fresh start in new home

Villager Wei Yanghui's stands in front of his old and new homes. The 40-year-old man and his family of five, lived with his brothers in a 50-square-meter house before. With a government subsidy of 41,000 yuan, a bigger new home is being built. It's estimated his family can move into the new 70-square-meter home in the second half of 2017. [Photo/Xinhua]
