Zhao Mnegfu during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) was a versatile man who was good at poetry, painting, calligraphy and also music. The reason his works had such a lasting influence on the whole Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties is probably because of his great accomplishments in the arts and his clear understanding of so many customs.
