Wang Xianzhi was the seventh son of Wang Xizhi. One of his most valuable works is Zhong Qiu Tie, 27 x 11.9cm, exhibited in the Beijing Palace Museum.
Zhong Qiu Tie is an uncompleted copy of Bao Jin Zhai Fa Tie and Shi'er Yue Ge Tie. However, after careful study of the paper and writing brush that the calligrapher used, most scholars believe that this piece is one copied by Mi Fu in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), which is equally valuable.
