Culture Minister Luo meets foreign counterparts at 2nd Silk Road Inter'l Cultural Expo

In the meeting with Kazakov Tugelbai, Luo said, it is hoped that the two sides will continue to carry forward the spirit of good neighbors and good friends, take the mutual establishment of cultural centers as an opportunity, strengthen strategic coordination, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, so as to push forward the strategic partnership between China and Kyrgyzstan. Luo introduced the performance of the large-scale national musical Manas created with "hero Manas" as the theme, the common cultural wealth of China and Kyrgyzstan. It is hoped that the show will be staged in Kyrgyzstan, as a new achievement in the Sino-Kyrgyz culture and art exchange.

Xie Jinying, Director General of the Bureau for External Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Culture, also attended the meeting.
