The third exhibition examines the evolution of Chinese urban skylines by showing 80 representative buildings designed by both home-grown and foreign architects.

It will shed light on not only the progress in design by Chinese architects, but also how they have contributed to solve urban planning problems and reshaping rural landscapes.

The Curitiba Biennial, which was launched in 1993, is one of the most influential art events in Latin America.

As part of the event, dozens of exhibitions and events are staged across the city.

Works of Chinese artists such as Liu Jianhua and Miao Xiaochun have been exhibited at previous editions of the event.
