Life of a magician
An original theater production features a magician living in a city of harmony and love. He builds a wooden robot, which disturbs the balance in the city of magic. The leading actor will be Chen Minghao from the National Theater Company of China. Feng Jiangzhou, a veteran new-media artist, will create the stage setting with digital technology and montage.

Joint show
ShanghArt Gallery is presenting a group exhibition at its main venue for the summer. Featured artists include Hu Jieming, Liang Yue, MadeIn, Mao Yan, Yang Fudong, Yu Youyan and Zhou Tiehai. Paintings, photos, videos and installation projects are all exhibited.

Comedy duo

The Italian comedy team Duo Baldo is made up of violinist Brad Repp and pianist Aldo Gentileschi. Their performance combines drama, humor, and pop culture with classical music. Duo Baldo made their debut with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in 2004. In 2006, Duo Baldo won first prize at the National Short Theater Competition in Florence, and the first prize at 2009 national musical comedy contest.
