SYDNEY - A huge factory fire broke out on Thursday in the Australian city of Sydney, with over 100 firefighters currently battling the blaze.

The smoke from the waste recycling plant fire can be seen right across the city, with firefighters establishing a perimeter around the blaze in the suburb of Chullora, evacuating all local residents from their homes and workers from neighbouring businesses.

The authorities said all people were accounted for at this time, with firefighters still unable to enter the building due to safety concerns.
