"The president has said that he will give up his uniform before December 1," Attorney General Malik Mohammad Qayyum told a news conference.

Qayyum said that the Supreme Court of Pakistan would decide on Musharraf's re-election case next week.

Musharraf has promised that whenever the court decided to allow for the notification of the presidential results, he would take oath as a civilian president.

According to a report on October 6 by the state-run APP news agency, Musharraf won the presidential election that day by a vast majority.
