Iraq police say female suicide bomber kills 5

BAGHDAD -- Iraqi officials say two attacks have killed 18 people and wounded 18 others in Baghdad.

Security officials say a female suicide bomber has blown herself up near the Green Zone, killing five people and wounding 11 others.

The heavily fortified Green Zone is home to the US Embassy and Iraqi government offices.

Police say 13 people were killed and seven wounded in a second bombing on a Trade Ministry minibus in Baghdad.

The officials say the bombings took place during the Monday morning rush hour.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.
