JERUSALEM - Several explosions were heard in northern Israel on Thursday and Israel suspected they were caused by rockets fired from Lebanon, Israeli media reported.

If confirmed, the rockets would be the first fired from Lebanon since a 2006 war against Hezbollah guerrillas.
