LONDON -- The number of confirmed cases of A(H1N1) flu in Britain have risen to 16, after health officials reported a new case had been documented in Scotland.

Scottish health officials said Sunday the case there was believed to be travel-related. They say the patient who got sick with the flu recently traveled to Texas.

There have been two cases in which people in Britain got the A(H1N1) flu from human transmission within the UK. All other cases are said to be travel-related.
