Chile reports 199 cases of A(H1N1) flu

Updated: 2009-05-29 09:46 SANTIAGO -- Chile's Health Ministry said Thursday that the number of A(H1N1) flu infection cases in the country rose to 199 after 31 new cases were confirmed.
The ministry said it would not advance winter vacations in schools in the country, which is in the winter season now, as it was not an advisable preventive measure. Chilean Health Minister Alvaro Erazo said there probably will be more than 1,000 cases of A(H1N1) flu in the country during the coming weeks. |
