Iran says 13 killed in Tehran clashes

TEHRAN: Thirteen people were killed in clashes between Iranian police and "terrorist groups" on Saturday as unrest hit Tehran amid disputes over the recent presidential election, Iran's satellite channel Press TV reported on Sunday.

Press TV said "rioters" set two gas stations on fire and attacked a military post.

Turbulence has overshadowed Tehran following the disputed presidential election on June 12.

Earlier Sunday, state television reported that several people were killed when a mosque in Tehran was set on fire on Saturday.
