1,000 cars on fire in Rome

A fire has broken out in a warehouse containing 1000 cars in Rome July 12, 2009. The cars are either being stored for scrap or have been seized by the city’s police. The Rome fire service has deployed 12 fire engines to combat the blaze. So far, the cause of the fire, which may take all night to extinguish, has not been discovered. [Xinhua] |
