ISLAMABAD: A six-storey building came down in southern Pakistani city of Karachi on Friday evening, burying dozens of people under debris.

The private TV channel Dawn News reported that two bodies have been taken out from the rubble.

The rescue and relief activities are difficult to be carried out due to congested area and lack of electricity. It also  appears difficult for the heavy machinery to reach the site of the incident because of lack of space.

The cause of the collapse is not immediately known.
