Hong Kong reports 773 new cases of HlN1

HONG KONG: Hong Kong reported 773 newly confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the 24 hours up to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, bringing the number of the city's cumulative cases to 26,078, local health authorities said.

The new cases involved 414 males and 359 females, aged between one month and 87 years, said the Department of Health of Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hospital Authority said currently a total of 227 confirmed patients are staying in public hospitals for treatment. Among them, 207 are in stable condition, eight in serious condition and 12 in critical condition.
