S.Korea reports 4 more death cases related to A(H1N1)

SEOUL: South Korea on Tuesday reported four more death cases related to A(H1N1) flu, raising the country's death toll from the new contagious disease to 52.

According to the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, the victims include a 79-year-old man and two women aged 76 and 56 respectively, all of whom are regarded as "high-risk" patients, and a 25-year-old woman who is not categorized as a " high-risk" patient.  

The ministry noted that the death toll may raise as the further medical tests are still underway on at least nine other deaths suspected of being caused by the new flu. 

The country on November 3 revised up its alert level against the A(H1N1) flu from the second-highest "orange" to the highest "red", calling on its people to pay closer attention.
