Russia to finish army modernization next year

MOSCOW: Russia will complete the modernization of its army next year, President Dimtry Medvedev said in his state-of-nation address Thursday.

New military hardware remains the high priority for our army, he said, adding that the military will receive over 30 international continental ballistic missiles and three nuclear submarines in 2010.
