Bahrain reports 7th A(H1N1) fatality

RIYADH: Bahraini Health Ministry confirmed on Sunday a new A(H1N1) fatality in the country, bringing to seven the total number of death cases by the novel flu virus, state-run Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

Salmaniya Medical Complex in Manama said an over-fifty Bahraini woman passed away on Sunday, only five days after she was admitted to the intensive care for being infected with the A(H1N1) virus.

Undersecretary of the Health Ministry Ameen El-Saati said the deceased woman was suffering from other chronic diseases, which together with A(H1N1) caused respiratory failure.
