Russian PM Putin arrives in India for one-day visit

NEW DELHI - Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrived here early Friday morning for a one-day official visit, reported local TV channel Times Now.

Putin will hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and will attend the signing of a series of cooperation agreements between India and Russia in the fields of defense, nuclear energy and trade, according to Indian officials.
