BANGKOK - The anti-government "red-shirts" Sunday afternoon released four soldiers, who had been detained at the "red-shirt" rally site since Saturday night, Thailand's Channel 9 Television reported at 16.00 pm.
The "red-shirt" group released them to Metropolitan Police Division 1 Commander Police Major General Wichai Sangprapai, who went to negotiate with the "red-shirt" major leaders at the rally site Phan Fah Bridge.
The soldiers said they were treated properly by the "red-shirts ".
The four soldiers were detained during the clashes late Saturday night, which left 20 people died and some 834 others injured.
