ISLAMABAD - At least six people were killed Sunday in a drone attack in Pakistan's tribal area of North Waziristan, according to local TV reports.
Three others were also injured in the missile attack by the US surveillance plane in North Waziristan area of Dattakhel, said the reports.
Sources were quoted as saying that at least two missiles were fired at a house in Dattakhel area of Anzar, where casualties occurred.
The number of deaths is expected to rise.
Militants have escaped from South Waziristan and taken refuge in North Waziristan. Local correspondents said that foreign militants are present in North Waziristan.
