Military operation kills 100 PKK rebels in N Iraq

ANKARA - About 90 to 100 rebels of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the military operations against the PKK camps and positions in northern Iraq between August 17 and 22 staged by the Turkish army, a statement issued by the General Staff of the Turkish armed Forces on its website on Tuesday.
