PYONGYANG - Television in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is showing pictures of a stream of mourners passing by the open coffin of Kim Jong-il, the late DPRK leader.
Media reported earlier that his son Kim Jong-un and other senior officials paid respects to Kim in a "solemn ceremony."
Mourners across the country sobbed and offered flowers Tuesday, a day after the news broke that Kim Jong-il had died of a heart attack on Saturday.
