HOUSTON - One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting in the U.S. state of Texas, officials said on Monday.
Homicide investigators were dispatched about 4:30 a.m. Monday to Southwest Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, after medical staff alerted authorities that two gunshot victims were brought to the hospital in a private car, according to a report on the website of The Houston Chronicle.
Police said one man died at the hospital. The other man's wound is not life-threatening.
The names of the victims were not released, and the cause of the gunfire was not immediately known.
Police investigation is still underway, said the report.
