San Francisco welcomes the Year of the Rooster on Feb 11 by putting on its annual Chinese New Year Parade. Named one of the 10 parades in the world, the San Francisco one remains night-illuminated and filled with floats, crowing roosters, lion and dragon dances, marching bands, costumed dancers, as well as its 268-feet long Golden Dragon this year. Chinese enterprises operating in the US, the ICBC for example, participated the parade with a novel-designed float.
