Chinese submersible explores turbidity current in South China Sea

Photo taken on May 6, 2017 shows a biological sample taken by China's manned submersible Jiaolong in South China Sea. Jiaolong explored submarine turbidity currents in the South China Sea on Saturday. Three crew members in the submersible conducted surveys and sampling and measured environmental parameters.
