Scotland and China: More similar than you think

The West Highland Line is the most beautiful railway line in Scotland. The train passes over breathtaking landscapes along the formidable looking Glenfinnan Viaduct. The locomotive leaves a billowing trail of white steam as it snakes along the single track railway line 100 feet above the shadowy green scenery below.

Beijing Suburban Railway Line 2 is the so-called most beautiful railway line in China. High-speed trains travel through a sea of blossoming trees near the Juyongguan Great Wall at Juyong Pass, a stop along the railway line. So the line is also called "a journey to the spring days".
