Hohhot, Inner Mongolia’s 'blue Sky City'

I felt I had walked into a Hohhot of a bygone age, one that was filled with images travelers may have had when indeed the city was a major staging post on the routes to and from Central Asia. A time when hides, wool, spices and so much more were traded in the markets before onward shipment.
