No better option for China, US than cooperation: Chinese ambassador

WASHINGTON - Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai said here Wednesday that there's "no better option" for China and the United States than cooperation.

Cui said that the world needs China and the United States to work together more than ever before.

China and the United States should properly handle differences and accommodate each other's core interests and concerns, said he.

The so-called "decoupling" of China and the United States would be disastrous for both economies and the world economy at large, Cui said.
