Foreign English tutors in China: Not always qualified

It is a well known fact, regardless of numbers, that many foreign English teachers come to China as tourists and then go knocking on school doors for teaching jobs, and of course, recruiters are more than happy to take them in, despite knowing full well they don't have the requisite qualifications to teach, and knowing that they are breaking the law teaching on a tourist visa. Can't blame these tourists though; who won't want an easy job with good pay, just because of their foreign looks, and their white skin which Chinese students and parents are obsessed with!
