For most foreigners, especially those with the corporate white-look, it’s easy to get work teaching English in China, especially in big cities - Shanghai most of all. The minimum requirement is a degree in any subject. Better schools require some ESL teaching qualification plus teaching experience, but many schools list these merely as preferable. As long as you have some kind of degree, you can get a teaching job even if you have no experience or ESL qualification. That also indicates something about the standard these schools aim for.
