Beers given Star Wars names

A brewery has launched two new craft beers named after Star Wars, known as Original Stormtrooper Galactic Pale Ale, and Lightspeed Pilsner.

The new line of beers is being launched in time for the ninth and final installment of the film franchise.

Both variants will be available in 330ml cans and kegs, while the Galactic Pale Ale will also be available in cask format. Alongside the launch, a range of merchandise – including beer mats, posters, glassware and gifting options – is also available.

The stylized Stormtrooper image, which adorns the new 330ml canned and bottled Stormtrooper beers, dates back to 1976 when prop maker Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton Design Studios created the original Stormtrooper helmets and armor for the first movie.
