Renowned award celebrates forward-looking photography

Artist Jiang Hanxuan took home the Luo Bonian Photographer Award with Conversations in the Kitchen Ⅰ & Ⅱ & Ⅲ, a long-term ongoing artistic research project based on photography and moving images. Since 2019, the artist has been collecting lively conversations she had with strangers from different cultural backgrounds in the kitchen. In this intimate place, people prepare food and engage in casual conversations while sharing food.
