A small sea of fire retardant foam was unintentionally released in an aircraft hangar, temporarily covering a small portion of the flightline at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The non-hazardous foam is similar to dish soap, which eventually dissolved into liquid. Firefighters from the 60th Air Mobility Wing helped control the dispersion by using powerful fans and covering drains. No people or aircraft were harmed in the incident.
