The vast expanses of deserts tend to inspire imaginations with its spectacular scenery.

From afar, the sand ridges and peaks look like a wandering dragon. Taking a closer look, sand peaks are like rolling sand waves.

The desert sands are moved by the wind creating almost a rhythm, and the camels roaming across it are like small musical notes in the symphony of nature.

Zuo Zhulin, a member of the China Photographers' Association, has captured the fantastic scenery in photos by going deep into the desert.

His photos offer people a sense of tranquility and soul-stirring beauty.
