Journalists focus on Silk Road Economic Belt in Xinjiang

Nearly 50 journalists from China and 22 foreign countries including Turkey and Singapore, arrived Wednesday in Urumqi, Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, to participate in a media event themed Approaching the Core Zone (Xinjiang) of the "Silk Road Economic Belt".
Through visits to Xinjiang Software Park and some companies, the journalists are getting a closer look at the development of the AI industry and other industries serving the Belt and Road Initiative in Xinjiang.
The event will last until May 19.
