A photo exhibition featuring Vietnam was recently held in Beijing. The photos were all taken by Chinese photographers, who captured the natural beauty of Vietnam and active and boisterous lives of the local people.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, his wife Peng Liyuan, Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang and his wife Nguyen Thi Hien visited the exhibition on May 11.
Cultural exchanges between the two nations have a long history. As bilateral relations have deepened in recent years, the number of cultural exchange activities, such as art festivals and forums, saw rapid growth. In September 2016, Vietnam delegations attended the first Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo in Dunhuang, Gansu province.
The exhibition was organized by China Arts and Entertainment Group.
