Highlights of WRC: Robots shooting hoops and changing face masks

World Robot Conference 2017 kicked off in Beijing on Wednesday, featuring major areas of robotic research, application and innovation.

An underwater robot, a transformer robot that can change its face mask and a life-size robot that looks like Chinese basketball star Yao Ming became highlights at Beijing Etrong International Conference and Exhibition Center.

The World Robot conference, showcasing cutting-edge technology on robots, runs until Aug 27.
