Aerial photo taken on Oct 22, 2017 shows the Taitema Lake at the lower reaches of the Tarim River in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. The water diversion to the lower reaches of Tarim River has reached one billion cubic meters since April 27 this year, which is part of the sustained efforts of the local government to maintain the eco-environment of the Tarim valley.[Photo/Xinhua] |
