4 killed in unrest in west of Iran: official

TEHRAN - Four people were killed in the recent unrest in Doroud city in the western Lorestan province of Iran, semi-official ISNA news agency reported on Monday.
Some of the governmental buildings, banks and religious places have been damaged or set on fire in the violence over the past days, said Mashallah Nemati, the governor of Doroud.
At least six people were also injured in the unrest, he said, adding that police did not shoot at people, but some who were in plain clothes shot at the police forces and fired at police stations.
