Should preschool children be allowed on the internet?

Editor's note: Thousands of cartoon videos with disturbing scenes of violence and sex have flooded the internet, raising parents' concerns about children’s online safety. About 29 percent of children aged between three and six spend more than half an hour online every day, according to a study conducted by an education research center under the China National Youth Palace Association. I'd say that surfing the internet is much better than just watching TV all evening or playing computer games. Not only does it encourage social interaction, but far more can be learned at the same time.
