Governor of Guangdong province in South China elected

GUANGZHOU - Ma Xingrui was re-elected governor of South China's Guangdong province on Wednesday, the provincial legislative body said in a statement.
Ma was elected at the first session of the 13th provincial people's congress.
Ma, born in 1959, is a native of Shandong province, and had served in posts including general manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and vice minister of industry and information technology.
He became the acting governor of Guangdong in 2016, and then governor in January 2017.
