Beijing urban subcenter taking shape

Then officials there began to survey the land, work on the exploration of cultural relics, and prepare for the construction of the subcenter, which Beijing has made a top priority. In the first phase, Gucheng village along with five other villages completed their relocation within three months.
On Dec 30, 2015, the Beijing Administrative Deputy Center held a low-profile opening ceremony. About three or four months later, it was renamed as the Beijing Urban Subcenter.
