Markle had to kiss her Snapchat and Instagram accounts goodbye after getting engaged last November. Actually, most of her social media accounts, including Twitter and Facebook, have been inactive for months since.

Members of the royal family are not allowed to run their own active social media accounts, and they can only share updates from their lives using the Kensington Royal account.

The bride-to-be revealed she can no longer take selfies with anyone after she appeared in public with Prince Harry on their first official royal engagement.

It is also a no-no for royal family members to sign autographs, something the American actress is used to doing upon meeting excited fans.

Markle has already put the brakes on her career, retiring from acting after announcing her engagement.
