Singaporean official arrives in DPRK ahead of Kim-Trump summit

PYONGYANG - Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan arrived here Thursday, according to Korean Central News Agency.
The visit comes days ahead of a historic summit between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States to be held in the city state.
DPRK top leader Kim Jong-un will meet US President Donald Trump on June 12 in Singapore, the first summit between the two countries since the end of the 1950-53 Korean War.
Balakrishnan is expected to meet with Kim on Friday. No details about the visit have been revealed.
